CWD supports women's development by giving them empowerment through social services. These services include:
Training and capacity building
Support and consultation on vocational training
CWD helps women to build their capacities through many forms of training, communication, and information provision so that they can independently solve their problems, organize their lives and create their livelihoods. CWD offers the following forms of training and capacity building:
Economic empowerment for women is one of CWD's priorities. With an aim to supporting women to have a career and start businesses on their own, CWD has focused on the following activities:
Education and vocational training
To fulfill socio-political tasks assigned by the Vietnam Women's Union, CWD has carried out many community outreaches and charity activities with the focus always on helping women who experience gender-based violence and women with disadvantaged backgrounds.
CWD has supported communities and localities in need through the "Accompanying Women in Border Areas" program, helped poor women create livelihoods for their families, and given them the chance to build new houses through the "Shelter of Love" program.
In addition, CWD regularly organizes and takes part in charitable activities to help poor women, disadvantaged families, and localities suffering from natural disasters. CWD has searched for and made connections with many other organizations and individuals to raise resources for these activities.
