CWD helps women to build their capacities through many forms of training, communication, and information provision so that they can independently solve their problems, organize their lives and create their livelihoods. CWD offers the following forms of training and capacity building:

• The Friday Forum which provides information and knowledge on gender-related matters, policies for women, domestic violence, starting up, product design, trade opportunities and introduces products made by women; etc.
• Training courses which help improve skills in various fields for women
• Information, exemplary data, case studies on women and gender equality
• Models of supporting the comprehensive development of Vietnamese women

Education and vocational training

• Organizing training of trainers and consultants on professional skills for the Union's officials and members in communities.
• Vocational training and training on vocational training skills for skilled artisans and workers to become vocational trainers and female workers.
• Vocational counseling and training for women. Introduce and supply labor for domestic and foreign markets.

CWD has supported communities and localities in need through the "Accompanying Women in Border Areas" program, helped poor women create livelihoods for their families, and given them the chance to build new houses through the "Shelter of Love" program.

In addition, CWD regularly organizes and takes part in charitable activities to help poor women, disadvantaged families, and localities suffering from natural disasters. CWD has searched for and made connections with many other organizations and individuals to raise resources for these activities.

Activities to support career and business start-ups : CWD organizes many training activities on career and business start-ups, financial management, business operations management for women; operates a website to support business development, market search, and product introduction for female entrepreneurs; organizes booths to display and introduce products made by Vietnamese women at trade fairs; and organizes charity fairs and networking fairs to promote products, thereby small and medium businesses owned by women; ...
