A Space to Promote Clean and Local Products

Since September 2025, the Peace Shop at 20 Thuy Khue Street (Tay Ho District, Hanoi) has expanded its space to showcase and sell clean agricultural products and regional specialties. The initiative is part of the Community Support Center’s ongoing efforts to promote community-based consumption — introducing high-quality local produce and helping cooperatives, small producers, and women entrepreneurs find stable markets for their goods.

The products showcased at the shop are diverse and rich in variety — from fresh vegetables and fruits from Sapa and Moc Chau, Da Bac black pork, honey, herbal teas, and dried fruits, to 4-star and 5-star OCOP items such as Ha Giang Shan Tuyet tea, Viet Cuong vermicelli from Thai Nguyen, and Lam Dong macadamia nuts. All products are sourced from localities with favorable soil and climate conditions, produced under VietGAP or organic standards, ensuring quality and traceable origins.

4-star and 5-star OCOP products are displayed at the stall, attracting a large number of domestic and international visitors to browse and shop.

Clean Products – A Journey of Kindness

Fresh vegetables are transported to Hanoi every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday morning. The harvesting, preliminary processing, and transportation processes are closely monitored to preserve freshness and deliver produce to consumers the same day. The shop also offers home delivery services, making it easier for urban residents to enjoy fresh, clean agricultural products on a daily basis.

Fresh vegetables and fruits from Moc Chau and Sapa are transported early each morning, ensuring freshness and food safety.

Supporting Farmers in Disaster-Affected Areas

More than just a commercial space, Peace Shop serves as a lifeline for cooperatives in need. Following the severe damage caused by Storm No. 11 to the Viet Cuong Vermicelli Cooperative in Thai Nguyen, the Community Support Center promptly launched a campaign titled “Supporting Viet Cuong Vermicelli Consumption”, offering a 20% discount to help the cooperative sell off its inventory and resume production soon.

Bundles of fresh vegetables, packages of clean vermicelli, and fragrant tea bags displayed at the shop not only carry the flavors of Vietnam’s countryside but also embody the spirit of sharing and compassion — “shopping for the community.”

A Sustainable Connection between Farmers and Consumers

The agricultural product stall at 20 Thuy Khue is open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., welcoming a steady flow of visitors and shoppers.

Over time, the model has grown into a lasting connection between farmers, cooperatives, and consumers — fostering a culture of kindness and sustainability in the way Vietnamese agricultural products are shared and enjoyed.
