Preserving the art of brocade and developing community-based tourism

Built this textile establishment in 2008. Ms Thuan's establishment focuses on vocational training and creating stable jobs for 35 ethnic minority women who have disadvantaged backgrounds, of whom 16 are disabled.

Thuan Hoa’s products are handbags, scarves, tablecloths, in-door slippers, stuffed animals, etc, woven and sewn by hand. Ms Thuan is ever-learning and always try to accumulate experience to maintain this nation's traditional craft and preserve cultural identity through community-based tourism. Her establishment has supported many women with disabilities and has been a firm source of support for them.
